Calvary Chapel Preschool (CCP) is a ministry of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. Our mission is to teach biblical truths, character development, and strong academic pursuits, which enable our students to serve and enjoy Christ and their community. All of our classes are taught by teachers who love Jesus, love teaching, and love their students. It is our desire to build a solid foundation of knowledge while also ministering to the needs of the whole child.
Below you will find some basic information about our school. We encourage you to apply online and make it a matter of prayer. Calvary Chapel Schools seeks students who will benefit from an education taught by teachers who are knowledgeable and passionate about their field of study, compassionate and excited about the students they teach and substantial in their Christian faith, thought and character. Candidates for admission are considered on their evident enthusiasm for learning and parental support of the vision and mission of Calvary Chapel Schools. All students must have a desire to attend Calvary Chapel Schools and agree to honestly and wholeheartedly apply themselves to the study of God's Word. They also agree to be courteous and respectful to their peers, staff, faculty and others. Calvary Chapel Schools reserves the right to select students and families based on their worldview, lifestyle choices, academic performance and personal qualifications including the willingness to cooperate with the Administration and abide by the school policies.

Requirements: Preschool applicants must be 2 to 5 years old and fully potty-trained* for admittance to Calvary Chapel Preschool. Child must be up-to-date on immunizations OR following the state conditional immunization schedule. *With the exception of 2 year olds
Acceptance Process: Applications will be individually reviewed by our Admissions Department for program availability. A response will be emailed to each family confirming acceptance or placement on a waiting list.
Open House: You are welcome to visit classrooms and meet our staff at our Open House on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
School Year: Calvary Chapel Preschool is a year round school. Our summer session is July 1st-August 16th.
Tuition: Payable each month through FACTS Tuition System. Please refer to the chart under the tuition tab.
Enrollment Fee: The yearly enrollment fee is $275. No portion of this fee is refundable.
Daily Schedule: Please refer to the chart under tuition tab for schedules offered within each program.
Extended Hours: Calvary Chapel Preschool is open Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The school’s “regular program” is from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. If your child arrives between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM and/or stays between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, your account will be charged additionally at the rate of $5.00 per half hour. You will be billed after each month for only the extended hours actually used. Please note: The full day Monday through Friday program cost includes extended hours at no additional charge.
Curriculum: Calvary Chapel Preschool uses a blend of developmentally appropriate pre-reading, math and writing, balanced by music, art, gardening and physical education. An enrichment program is available for afternoon and full day students. CCP utilizes the Christian based ABEKA curriculum which is specifically designed for kindergarten readiness. Biblical integration is found throughout the curriculum. No entrance testing is required.
Discipline: In preschool, children are learning to use self-control, make appropriate choices and to cooperate with their peers and teachers. Positive discipline is emphasized. We desire to create an environment where children receive love, guidance and encouragement, as well as promoting self-confidence.
Spiritual Life: Prayer is an integral part of each day. Students will be reminded how much God loves them and listens to them when they pray. Each day will include a time of worship and Bible lessons. Students will learn Bible verses and have chapel each week.
